Not taking it personally.

Simply, the biggest advice that any direct selling legend will ever give you is that you should never take rejections personally. Anyone who is inexperienced will tell you that they try to avoid rejections because that they are scared of how it feels. This should not be the case as rejections are nothing personal. Your prospective buyer might just not need the product or just not be ready for the commitment. If you take away just one thing from this article, I hope that this is it.

Expect rejections

Rejections are a huge part of being a direct seller from a company like QNET. In fact, you will be faced with more rejections than a yes or a maybe. Rejections are a common part of sales, so much so that it is the only thing that you can be sure of. Be prepared to hear a ‘no’, and learn to take it with confidence and grace.

Remain professional

Remain polite and professional when you are faced with rejection. Remaining polite and courteous when taking a rejection will make a positive impression on your prospective customer. This is will allow you to have a better chance if you ever try again.

Try to learn why

When your prospective customer tells you that they are not interested in your product, try to learn the reason why. Is it because they are not looking for a product right now, or is it because they have a better alternative to it? Is it the product that they are not interested in, or is it how you presented it to them. By asking these questions, you will be able to better prepare yourself for your next prospective customer.

Do not be demotivated

It is easy to be demotivated when faced with rejections. But victory comes to the ones who persevere. Do not be demotivated and keep trying till you succeed.

Be Patient

Patience is a virtue that is not as prevalent as it should be. Be patient when you are faced with rejections constantly. Your time will come.
