Job vs Network Marketing: Which is better? | All Things QNET

One of the most common questions that I have heard from my prospective clients is which is better: jobs or network marketing? I am pretty sure that many of us can relate to being attracted towards starting a business but being told all our lives that the goal island a high paying job. This is especially true for a middle-class family as the end goal always has been to find a good job, preferably government. But lately, there has been a shift towards starting your own business and entrepreneurship.

But which is actually better? Is the network marketing business as good as people make it out to be? Or is conventional jobs the way to go? Let’s talk about the advantages and disadvantages of direct selling network marketing business when compared to just working a normal, 9 to 5 job.

Job vs Network marketing: The advantages

There are many advantages to joining a top direct selling network marketing company like QNET when compared to working a conventional job. This can be financial, personal or even social.

Financial Independence

One of the most attractive things about becoming a direct seller for QNET was that it has helped me become financially independent. Yes, a good conventional job will get you paid, with benefits. But what you earn is completely dependent on your salary, with no extra scope to earn more. But having multiple streams of income is simply the best and most effective way by which you can achieve financial independence, and direct selling network marketing is one such stream.

Flexible Lifestyle

If there is one other factor that might be as attractive, if not more, it is the flexible lifestyle that it allows you to have. One of the biggest problems with a conventional 9 to 5 job is that just that- you have to work from 9 to 5, 5 to 6 days a week. Nobody wants to spend the bulk of their day cooped up inside an office, hoping for a measly weeks’ vacation. People crave the freedom to decide what they do and for how long they do it. Direct selling network marketing business allows you to decide how many hours of the day you spend in the business. Also, once you grow a big enough sales team, you can take a backseat and let them handle all the activity.

Personal Growth

As someone who has had a few jobs in the past, there is very little scope of personal growth after you find a comfortable job. Don’t get me wrong. I know many people who were motivated and driven enough to work a full-time job while working on personal growth and skill-levelling. I was not so motivated, and I cannot speak for you. But as a QNET direct seller, you will be able to learn and grow yourself. You get the opportunity to meet a number of valuable people who can show you what to do. Also, QNET has invested a number of resources in helping its direct sellers.

Job vs Network Marketing: Disadvantages

As much as there are advantages to being a direct selling network marketing entrepreneur, there are a couple of disadvantages that I want you to keep in mind.

You have to put in the effort

If you want to succeed in the direct selling industry, you have to put in the effort and energy. You have to find clients, research your products, build your brand and amass a big sales team. You should also be willing to face rejections and learn to not take them personally.

No Job Security Initially

Similar to the previous point, there is no security as a direct seller, at least initially. Once you have grown into a big enough sales team and have made your foothold in the business, things will be better off! But jobs, especially government sector jobs, provide a considerable bit of job security.

Conclusion

So, is direct selling network marketing better than a conventional job? It was for me. Whether it is for you is up to you and how you make it. But, as you can see, there are more than a few advantages to direct selling network marketing business. So, maybe try it out, and who knows! Maybe you are the next player in the business.
